Early Life

Dustin Lee Ross J.R. was born in Trenton, New Jersey on May 23rd, 1980. He was in and out of foster care until he was 16, when he ran away and got his first job at a pizza place in Trenton.

Music Career

Dustin had always had a passion for drumming. "He didn't have a drum kit, but he'd always find something to make noise with," said a foster care worker who had once worked with him.

He met Maverick Murphy at a Punk Cock & The Lefty Lunatics show, where Maverick threw a guitar pick to him. Maverick stated in an interview, "I tossed one to him, I saw him watchin' me for the rest of the show. After, while I was at the bar, he came over and started talkin' to me, and we've been friends since, I dunno what else to tell ya'."

Not much is known about Dustin's life and history, as he rarely did interviews, and stayed off of social media. On the rare interview he agreed to, he stayed vague.

Disciples released their second album in August 2006, and their third album in September 2009, before breaking up in December 2010 due to creative differences.
