Early Life

Chase Thomas Singh was born in Sherrill, New York on July 7th, 1976. He grew up on a farm in a small town with his father James, his grandfather Richard, and his older brother Charles. His family owned two Bernese Mountain dogs named Judge and Ranger, and a Belgian Malinois named Pepper.

On the farm, he suffered from physical and mental abuse at the hands of his father and older brother. "The night after my nineteeth birthday, I stole his [Charles'] car, took my bass with me, and drove to New York City." Chase stated in an interview.

Music Career

"Once I arrived there, I heard music I'd never heard before [Disciple concert]. It was amazing. I sat on the curb and listened. I was tired, I felt like I was dreaming," He states. After the show, Chase approached them at a bar, begging them to give him a chance at playing in their band. After some conversation between the two current members, Maverick Murphy and Dustin Ross, they agreed, saying he could play at their show the following night.

"It was surreal," he said, "I had just been on this little old farm, eighteen hours later I was playing guitar and screaming on stage with these strangers I'd never met." Chase became an official member of Disciples in April 2003.

Disciples released their second album in August 2006, and their third album in September 2009, before breaking up in December 2010 due to creative differences.
